Hilal - Bosnian Cultural Society (Hilal BCS) is a community-driven organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of the Bosnian Muslim community in the North of England. We provide a range of services, including educational initiatives, poverty relief efforts, religious activities, and recreational programs. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where individuals of all ages can learn, grow, and connect with their heritage and faith.

Excitement filled the air as Hilal BCS took part in the Mount Pleasant FC Football Gala Tournament on 30th June 2024 in Batley! This thrilling event was more than just a tournament – it was a day of fun, unity, and family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.
Our football team played with great determination and team spirit, showcasing their skills on the pitch. Competing against local teams, our players represented Hilal BCS with pride and sportsmanship, making us all incredibly proud.
But the fun didn’t stop with football! The event offered an incredible family fun day, featuring:

The tournament was a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, cheer for our team, and enjoy a wonderful day out. Whether playing on the field or supporting from the sidelines, everyone who attended had a fantastic time celebrating sports, friendship, and community spirit.

In 2014, Bosnia was hit by devastating floods, leaving thousands of families displaced and struggling to rebuild their lives. The Hilal BCS community came together with an incredible sense of solidarity, determined to make a difference.
Volunteers worked tirelessly to collect food parcels, hygiene essentials, and clothing, ensuring that aid reached those who needed it most. They packed trucks filled with vital supplies and coordinated their delivery directly to affected areas in Bosnia. Among those who received the aid were elderly individuals who had lost everything and families struggling to find shelter.
Volunteers reached a small villages where people had been left stranded after their home was severely damaged. Thanks to the generosity and efforts of our community, countless individuals were given a helping hand during one of the most difficult times of their lives. The 2014 flood relief effort was a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to humanitarian aid.
